This is an extremely rare Tape recorded 27.6.1993 at Raduno Beat, Castel San Giovanni in Piacenza and given away with the Italian Fanzine "Born Loser #7" in Autumn 1993.

It's a wonderful present that I found in my mailbox yesterday from a great friend of mine with the offer to post it here.

The Remains - Too Much To Lose (1+2 Records 1994)

The Remains (1991-1995) were a Japanese Underground Punk Rock'n'Roll Band from Kill City Tokyo. When the Stephen's Quints broke up Hiroshi The Golden Arm (Lead Guitar & Vocal) and Tamito Blackout (Drums) formed the Remains in the summer of 1991. Koji Stardust (Bass) joined the band in the winter of '92. Their sound was heavily inspired by the New York Dolls, Iggy Pop and the Stooges, '70s Punk Rock and '80s Alternative Rock. The Lead Guitarist is affectionately referred to as the Japanese Johnny Thunders in the world.  After many records and shows, in 1996 the band morphed into The Golden Arms.

Another Japanese punk finest's debut. Heartbreakers and Jeff Dahl styled trash punk rock. This CD features strong melodies and distorted guitars. Dig it!   -Cryptic Times #5

Lookee, the Japanese version of the Ramones - well for the most part. This is a three piece band and they’re pretty good if you dig the more glamour era of Punk a la Johnny Thunders.
The recording quality beats the piss out of the Japanese bands that were on the Hodge Podge Barrage compilation. The vocals are sung in English, though some pronunciations sounded like the singer had marbles in his mouth or something. The band does an interesting take on the Stones’ oldie and moldy “Gimme Shelter,” and there’s some other covers of Bowie, Jeff Dahl, and the Misfits that would probably strike your interest. Their original material is just as listenable, but it’s very 70s Glam Punk, which I really can’t stomach. This isn’t exactly my cup of tea, but I’m sure I’d buy this over that D-Generation poop. (CD)   -Groovy

Moron's Morons - Looking For Danger (Slovenly Records 2020)

Warsaw based roaring lo-fi garage destroyers.

The undying appeal of scuzzy R ‘n’ R has found its way to Poland, four Warsaw misfits called Moron’s Morons adding heavy early 80s hardcore with a nasty hock of punk phlegm to their garage rock swag and unleashing Looking For Danger, a debut album as raw ‘n’ rattling as it gets.

Fuck me sideways this has to be the rawest loudest punk rock n roll record recorded since the Damneds debut.

...it’s one of the most exciting Punk records that we’ve had in a long time!

Looking For Danger consists of 13 hard-hitting and brain-splattering songs....

Every song slams right into the next, and you have no time to do or think about anything. It’s a beast of a record, and if you’re wanting something really snotty and brutal, this is the one for you.

....the best way to play this record is loud. Stupidly loud!!!

It’s fast it’s loud its uncompromising, but above all its addictive.

Moron’s Morons have knocked out one hell of a record and if you still have a beating heart and crave loud guitars played hard then what on Gawds earth are you waiting for go pick this up for fuck’s sake!

Living For Danger is garage punk par excellence. Every riff hacks, every beat kills, and their projectile gob never misses its target (your face). It’s filthy, it’s juvenile, and it’s fucking great!

At long last, the first full-length from Warsaw Poland’s MORON’S MORONS is here and shitting all over everything you thought you knew about “punk rock.” As iconoclasts in the genre, duh Morons have concocted a rather challenging and unique album called “Looking for Danger” where every track sounds like (the) Germs “G.I.,” Angry Samoans’ “Back from Samoa,” and “Damned Damned Damned,” with subject matter provided by VOM’s “Live at Surf City” EP all played at the wrong speed backwards, layered on top of each other and turned inside out in an exercise in multi-dimensional stupidity with nonstop twists and turns. Juvenile silliness has never reigned so supreme on an album saturated with such noisy obnoxious violence that burns so bad you’ll be begging for a double shot of penicillin before you get a chance to flip it over!

Enjoy!

The Time Beings - It's About... Time (No Label 1996)

Long-time Worcester, Massachusetts garage-meisters first disc.
Tough definitive tea-party state originals mixed up with spectacular covers that range from west coast punks The Mamas and The Papas to sped up Grains of Sands...

If you can imagine mashing 40 years of rock in a blender and then tossing in gasoline, whiskey, a tab of acid, and a match, you'd have a decent starting point to describe the band's sound….

Now I remember why I liked The Time Beings enough for inclusion on the “Beasts From the East” compilation LP: they are really garagey. Imagine The Seeds after swallowing a couple cases of beer (instead of LSD), and you'll get the idea of this band's direct, simple appeal. They had been bashing the tunes since at least the turn of the 1980s, and had accumulated these two power-packed demos by the time of the garage vinyl explosion. Oddly, they couldn't find a home for their stuff, as several labels passed on them. They boasted some great tracks, however, as their guttural garage approach was gritty, snotty - and as I said before - beer-soaked.
....Their "Why Don't You Love Me" even topped the Fuzbrains Magazine 1987 staff poll as the best song of the year.    -Timothy Gassen (R.I.P.)

OK, so The Ramones decided to call it quits. Fear not intrepid punks, Worcester's The Time Beings is supplying what you need - rough and tumble primal rock 'n roll - on the band's debut CD.
The project is aptly called "It's About ... Time," and marks the quartet's first full-length recording in a career that stretches back to the late '70s….
…These days, The Time Beings are bass player Jay Mortorano, guitarists Preston Wayne and Dave Roemer, and drummer Jim "Buck" Burbury. The disc includes some of the band's older material, such as "Why Don't You Love Me," and even features some surprising covers. There are not one, but two, tunes here originally done by The Mamas and The Papas: "Straight Shooter" and "Got a Feelin'. " In the hands of The Time Beings, the rich vocal harmonies are replaced by speed-demon guitar duels.
Among the band's originals, the edgy "Gun Shop," and the instrumental "Hangman" rise to the top. Overall, the 12-song disc (which includes an unlisted "hidden" song) is solid from start to finish. The singing and playing bear more grit than any younger punk outfit could muster, proving there is an art to playing rough.   -Scott McLennan

Sonic Flowers - The First Case (PSST-Music 2001)

Sonic Flowers were founded in 1999 with members from 'The Pickles' and 'Tristan and the Rosewood' the first rehearsal turned out kind of gruff: Robin, the planned guitarist, cuts off the last joint of his forefinger with a circular saw the afternoon before ....for sure a disadvantage for a guitarist ... 6 weeks later he appeared in the rehearsing room raising his cheroot up in the air saying ..'Let´s go' .... The results were some ditty tunes inspired from the british 60´s orientated Garage music. Simple and clear Song structures with a fuzzy style guitar sound, a buzzy organ underpinned by a boom bass and bang drum ... On stage the Temperament of the band blasts the envisaged song structures and Peter 'The Duke' , Organ Wizard from Hell & Head of the Kapelle, sets off for a little walk around his instrument hammering the keys from sides and behind and finally returns .. a sign for the other guys that the solo is over .... There´s nothing more to tell ... Just see !

(Aus dem Fanzine "A Beat Odyssey No.5")
